8-week-old tea-sized Maltipoo puppies are typically small, weighing around 1.5 to 2 kg. At this age, they are lively, curious and full of energy, but still very dependent on their mothers or human caregivers in search of comfort and support. Their coat is soft, silky and gradually develops into the classic long, flowing fur for which maltipoos are known. The coat color is usually a combination of brown and blue steel, with blue darkening over time. These puppies begin to explore their surroundings and can begin basic toilet training, although they still need a lot of attention and care. Their personalities are often sweet and affectionate, and they can be playful and eager to bond with their new owners. Because of their small size, they require extra care to avoid injuries.
